About the Author
Sofan Chan was born and spent his formative years in Hong Kong, a place of great cultural diversity, high population density, and a fast pace of life. Her love of art led her to study advanced western painting techniques at The School of Art Institute in Chicago, USA, before finally settling down with her partner Rochman Reese in Australia.
His paintings have a unique and easily recognizable style, full of vibrant, cheerful colors and flowing lines. They are the external expression of your inner Buddhic nature and inspirations. His oil paintings are original and limited edition prints are proudly displayed in a wide variety of collections around the world.
‘Painting is a form of meditation for me. When I am really in tune with what I am painting, inspiration starts to flow and the paint takes on a life of its own, appearing effortlessly on the canvas. In this artistic and meditative state, I love to focus on bringing out the feelings of love, happiness and peace, using my artwork to build the invisible bridge back to our true nature. ‘
