Description
The Hush Tarot is a treasure chest of dark jewels. It depicts a world along living fences and borders, the mysterious domain of fairies and small creatures. In the world of the Hush Tarot there is beauty in decay and darkness, nature is by turns tender and brutal, and always, new life arises where the old has fallen.
Hush Tarot is a new spooky and beautiful tarot deck by Jeremy Hush. Jeremy’s art is deeply rooted in the 19th century style of Victorian botanical prints and harks back to artists such as Rackham and Dulac. Like Rackham, these images remind us of the old fairy tales and mysteries, but here the aesthetic is raw and immediate. The cards bring us face to face with the full force of nature in its cycle of life and decay. This deck works well for readers already familiar with the Rider Waite classification who are interested in exploring classic Tarot themes from a new perspective. It is also an excellent tool for intuitive readings, as each card is filled with deep and intriguing symbolic imagery that will help connect you with the deep force of nature and the ancient theme of The Fortune.
Hush Tarot beckons readers to explore a compelling world where animal and human spirits are unified, and even the smallest creatures like ravens and hares have great significance. Sometimes they seem lost in the bush, but there is always a hidden clue that guides them to the way out. The fascinating characters and landscapes are illustrated with lush detail inspired by a 19th century aesthetic that explores natural forms in various states of life and decay. Hush Tarot offers a change of perspective that reveals profound answers to life’s mysteries.
