Depending on the individual characteristics of each practitioner, one may choose one or more of these paths, simultaneously or separately, at any time or period of life.

Karma, or the path of working without expectation of results or fruits produced by it.
Bhakti, or the path of devotion to one of the many aspects of the Absolute (Brahman).
Jñana, or gnosis, the path of knowledge, discovering spirituality through rational inquiry.

How to Use Incense

– First of all, choose the right incense for your intention (healing, energy cleansing, protection, attunement with guides or angels, etc.). Don't light incense just to "scent" your home. There's a whole spiritual process behind an incense ritual that must be respected. Any energy you "invoke" with the incense will be available for your request. There are also natural elementals that will make themselves available to be burned for your benefit. It's our duty to show respect for this process.

– It should be placed in a metal or clay incense burner to collect the ashes that will fall and to protect the areas where it is placed from burns that may result from these ashes;

– Light the tip of the incense-covered stick with a candle flame, match, or lighter;

– Mentally unite with the scent and feel the peace that each of us holds within. It's your moment to relax. Make this your relaxation and meditation ritual.
