About Tibetan Incense

Tibetan incense is a precious gem from the Himalayan monastic tradition, combining various herbs, minerals, flowers, and spices found in the region to create a unique incense with medicinal and therapeutic properties. Tibetan incense is burned to release a very calming and relaxing aroma that is good for both mind and body. It has been used by Tibetan Buddhist monks in their meditations, mantra chanting, and spiritual rituals for over 2000 years.

The finest incense is made in Tibet, where workers in monasteries and cottage industries craft incense based on ancient recipes received directly from sages and enlightened beings, described in traditional and sacred Tibetan scriptures. These are original fragrances made according to ancient spiritual and cultural traditions, providing an excellent aroma and therapeutic effect during activities such as yoga and meditation. They are crafted and composed with substances such as sandalwood, cedar bark, rose petals, and jasmine flowers, among other ingredients. Each box contains 20 grams of incense with 20 sticks and a clay base to support the incense. Each stick takes an average of 65 minutes to burn completely because it does not have the traditional bamboo stick.
