About the 13 Elders

The legend of the Original Mothers describes primordial abundance, but human greed led to competition, violence against the Earth and women, causing cataclysms and the planet's deviation from its orbit, and then the so-called "first world" was destroyed by fire.

As part of the Original Dream of the Deep Mystery – peace, harmony, equality, respect – created as the healing aspects of Grandmother Moon and Mother Earth, representing all that is beautiful in woman, these feminine healing energies were then materialized on the physical level in thirteen women who came to walk upon the Earth, met and built the Council House in the architectural form of the Turtle, to transmit their medicine, uniting the Sisterhood – a Sisterhood of Women – as one, honoring their cycles, dreaming and praying together, celebrating and revering their Sacred Being, awakening the dreams of all humankind, enlivening the principles of the Deep Feminine and sealing this symbol in the hearts of women.

These teachings would be shared with all women using the grandmothers' healing shields, which expressed the mystery of each clan through their shapes, colors, and concepts.

These shields have disappeared from the physical plane, but their wisdom and power remain in the subtle realms, like guiding threads for all women who wish to follow the gifts of their ancestors and materialize them into new shields symbolizing their healing and connection with these thirteen archetypes, thirteen absolute truths for the expansion, liberation, and healing of women.
