This document establishes the pre-contractual information relating to distance contracts on the website www.templodebuda.com , as referred to in Article 4 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, and all subdomains. The domain www.templodebuda.com is owned by Célia de Jesus Parreiras Rancheiro, with registered office at Rua Jaime Lopes Dias 1750-124 Lisbon, individual taxpayer number 205 603 688.
Browsing the Templo de Buda website and its subdomains, as well as purchasing any product, implies acceptance of the following information and General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The Temple of Buddha reserves the right to change the pre-contractual information contained on this website, based on current legislation, without the need for any prior notice.
The cost of delivery in mainland Portugal, the Portuguese islands, and internationally will be automatically calculated by our platform and will take into account several criteria, such as the characteristics of the order and the zone to which your postal code belongs.
Shipments, cancellations and returns
1. Shipments
The Buddha Temple delivers orders to all countries. The order is sent to the address indicated by the customer in the "delivery address" field on the order completion form. Because we work with several carriers, deliveries are made by the carrier available at the time the order is placed.
All our delivery methods are based on confidentiality and discretion for the customer's comfort.
Minimum order value €12,00 + Shipping
1.1. Delivery Times
Orders are normally shipped within 72 business hours. In case of urgency, contact the Temple of Buddha via email at compras@templodebuda.com or WhatsApp so that we can process your order with the best and fastest solution. This does not apply to products with a 10-day delivery timeframe.
After the order is shipped, the usual delivery time is as described below, except for made-to-order products, which may have their delivery time extended by up to 10 working days for deliveries in mainland Portugal and Spain, and up to 20 working days for deliveries to the islands and other countries.
– Mainland Portugal: 2 to 5 business days
Madeira and Azores: 3 to 8 business days (Sea freight)
– Other Countries: 3 to 20 business days (except for countries that require customs clearance, which will be the customer's responsibility, as well as any additional expenses)
1.2. Shipping costs
- Mainland Portugal: 100g to 2kg = €3.20 | Free shipping on orders over €39
- Madeira and Azores: Shipping costs vary according to the weight of the order | Up to 5kg = €10
- Other countries: Shipping costs vary depending on the weight, dimensions of the order, and the country. The website will calculate the cost before you finalize your order.
Orders containing salt lamps and selenite lamps of any size are NOT included in the free shipping costs.

1.3 Products Out of Stock
For orders of products that are low in stock or out of stock, please contact us at compras@templodebuda.com so we can expedite the order for your desired quantity! This option is valid for orders over €39.
2. Cancellations
2.1. The customer may cancel their order if it has not yet been shipped. To cancel the order, they must communicate the cancellation in writing via email to compras@templodebuda.com , and they will be contacted with instructions on how to cancel.
2.3. If the order has already been shipped, the customer must request its return, following the return process described below.
The customer may return their order within 14 business days of receiving it. To return the order, the customer must notify us in writing via email at compras@templodebuda.com , which will be answered with the utmost attention and availability.
The same procedure applies to damaged products or products that do not meet your expectations, also within 14 days. The Temple of Buddha is available to reach the best agreement for both parties.
The customer has the right to return purchased products, without needing to provide a reason, within a maximum period of 14 business days.
3. Deadlines and Refunds
Each payment institution has its own refund processing times. If a return is necessary, the refund will be processed after we receive the returned item at our facilities. A summary of these times can be found below:
– MBWay: the refund will be credited to the respective MBWay account and will be available within the next few hours after the refund notification.
– Credit Card: The refund will be credited to the respective card and will be available 5 to 10 business days after notification of the refund.
-PayPal: The refund will be credited to the respective PayPal account and will be available within the next few hours after the refund notification.
-Multibanco Reference – the refund will be credited to the customer's bank account after the customer provides their IBAN via email to compras@templodebuda.com
-Payshop – the refund will be credited to the customer's bank account after the customer provides their IBAN via email to compras@templodebuda.com
-Payment on delivery – the refund will be credited to the customer's bank account after the customer provides their IBAN via email to compras@templodebuda.com

ATTENTION: In order to maintain the prices and quality of the Buddha Temple, stock needs to be up-to-date, therefore – ORDERS AWAITING PAYMENT FOR MORE THAN 48 HOURS WILL BE CANCELED.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
You have 14 days from receiving your order to inspect it. If you are not completely satisfied, you must return it to us, and after inspection, the amount will be refunded via bank transfer. It is necessary to contact us before initiating any return process by email at compras@templodebuda.com. After 14 days, it will be considered fully satisfied.
5. Privacy Policy
5.1. Customer data is processed in compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data. This data, subject to computer processing, will be stored in the Temple of Buddha's database and is intended for registration and presentation of other products and services, as well as institutional information, to be made available by the same.
5.2. Providing data is optional, and you are guaranteed, under the law, the right to access, rectify, and cancel any data that directly concerns you, either personally or in writing, directly to the address on the homepage of this website.
6. Content Information
6.1 All images of products available in the Templo de Buda store were taken from real products; however, new products are constantly being restocked, which means that the product you receive may vary slightly in color, size, and texture, as they are natural products and unique in their essence.
6.2 The Templo de Buda store reserves the right to modify at any time the information and commercial offer presented regarding: Products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services.
6.3 The Templo de Buda store is not responsible, directly or indirectly, for any information, statements or expressions contained in the comments on the articles sold on the website www.templodebuda.com. The authorship of the content of the product comments is the responsibility of the authors who purchased the articles in question.
7. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction and Disputes
6.1. This contract is governed by Portuguese law and, for the resolution of any dispute, the courts of the Lisbon district shall have exclusive jurisdiction, with the express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
8.2. In case of dispute, the customer may resort to the Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center:
