For hundreds of years, White Salvia (Salvia Apiana) has been regarded as a sacred, purifying plant. Native American people started the tradition by burning their dried leaves during their purifying ceremonies (Ayahuasca, Iboga, Peyote…) and healing sessions, to cleanse the space or the person of all sucking spirits or negative energies.
Palo Santo, called sacred wood in Spanish, has also been part of South American culture for decades. The wood of this wild tree from the Amazon forests has traditionally been burned by the Inca and Shaman peoples for spiritual purification, energy cleansing and healing.
The combination of the ground-floor aroma of White Sage with the soft balsamic aroma of Pau Santo provides a meditation environment.
